The Points for the Ohio State HO Racing Series will be awarded to reward not only good finishes but
good qualifying as well. The top 4 qualifiers will receive a bonus with the TQ receiving 5 points, 2nd
4 points, 3rd 3 points and 4th 2 points. The mains results will award 150 points for 1st then declining
by 5 point increments down to 50 points. The lowest any racer will receive is 50 points. Each racer
will "drop" their lowest point race total and count a maximum of 6 races for season points total.
We will also be racing for the "Ohio State Grand Champion" award. It will be awarded to the racer
with the best average finish at years end in S/S and Compression Molded Polymer Modified classes
combined. We will simply take the finishes from all the races (minus one drop per class) and add the
numbers. 1st = 1, 2nd = 2, 3rd = 3 and so on. Lowest number wins the Cup.
